Tatiana Kourochkina Art Gallery presents the work of Vitaly Pushnitsky, a Russian artist who lives in St. Petersburg and works in multiple artistic media. Under the title чувство  масштаба (Scale feeling) , the artist reflects on life and its course as an escalation process through various techniques and formats, which demonstrate his deep technique research.

Vitaly Pushnitsky is an artist-researcher. He works with an initial idea and carries out his work following a plan, as a scientist in his laboratory would do, combining different tools and materials –some more usual than others in the art world– and proposing new qualities and points of view through the unpredictable effects of his experiments.

The show entitled Scale of feeling includes a series of large sized pictures titled Some Days and Labyrinth , a series of lithographs called Birth date and some mixed media sculptures from the series Lines made with materials that are not normally used for making art. Thus, more than a transversal exhibition -as far as genre or material is concerned- Vitaly proposes a reflection on the point of union of these elements. Proposes an expansion that goes beyond traditional genres.
